Intermittent downtime with FedEx's API caused widespread delays

FULFILLMENT DELAYS DUE TO FEDEX API DOWNTME

Hey Nice Partners,


Today, intermittent downtime with FedEx's API significantly increased our order processing times and caused delays in our overall fulfillment operations. To mitigate the impact, our team shifted priority to UPS and USPS orders, which helped us regain some ground. However, some orders remain delayed.

During downtime, FedEx API response times significantly increased, causing chart-breaking processing delays of up to 10 minutes per order.

After working with the FedEx and Shiphero teams this afternoon, we have addressed the major issue, though we will continue to closely monitor the situation for recurrence. A team is working late tonight to help accelerate the catch-up process, and we are hopeful to return to normal operations by tomorrow.
