Q: Is Nice open BFCM weekend? A: Yes! To help stay on top of holiday orders, our team will work throughout the weekend on November 25th and 26th. We're coordinating with carriers for a potential extra weekend pickup. Regardless, anticipate a significant number of orders to be shipped out on Monday, November 27th.
Q. Will Nice be running the Sunday shift through the end of the year? A: You betcha. Implementing the Sunday shift over the summer has helped give us a leg-up on Mondays. This shift will continue processing orders through the end of the year. We're also hiring seasonal help to pad some of our warehouse operations. Have a neighbor, college/high-school kid, or teacher in Charleston who would like to make some extra $$ over the holidays? Send 'em this way!
Q. How is Nice preparing for the expected surge in orders? A: Our team has been proactively streamlining our warehouse and processes, ramping up staff resources, and working with carriers to be as prepared as possible for the increased volume.
Even still, given the sheer demand that Christmas and holiday sales bring, some fulfillment delays will be unavoidable.
Keeping us informed of your promotion schedule in advance (by November 3rd, please!) and staying in regular communication with your Account Manager through the holidays will be a big help as we forecast demand and aim to provide the best support possible.
Q. Why are some of my orders shipping "out of order"? A: If products are in stock and an order is ready to ship, we typically follow a first-in, first-out fulfillment approach, giving priority to expedited services. However, during holiday sale periods, we often set up bulk ship stations to process orders with the same SKUs all-at-once, freeing up other stations to handle more complex, one-off orders. While this system speeds up overall fulfillment, it may result in some orders being fulfilled "out of order."
