Starting today, July 9th, USPS rolled out a new service: USPS Advantage


  • USPS Advantage combines USPS Retail Ground, First-Class Package, and Parcel Select into one unified service.
  • This new structure will provide a more efficient shipping experience and consistent transit logistics that aligns USPS closer to competitors like UPS and FedEx. 
  • Under this new service, you can expect packages to ship anywhere in the U.S. in around 2-5 business days.

The best part? There is nothing for you to do on your end to transition to this service.


Our WMS partner, Shiphero, has already mapped this change in their system, and we are working to finalize changes to billing and automations on our end. While you should be seeing USPS Advantage listed beside orders in your dashboard, any orders still shipping out as USPS First Class will still be honored by the carrier through September.


Furthermore, we’re negotiating with USPS to secure volume discounts with their Ground Advantage program, potentially leading to further cost savings for you.
