We’re reaching out to let you know about some upcoming changes to UPS shipping rates so you can stay ahead of your planning for the new year.

UPS usually rolls out its annual rate increases in January, but this year they’re introducing them a bit earlier than expected. Beginning Monday, December 22, UPS will apply a general rate increase of 5.9% across all shipping services.

The TL;DR of it all:

• Shipments tendered to UPS on or after December 22 will reflect the updated rates

• This increase is coming directly from UPS to all customers

• Nice will pass this carrier rate increase through as a direct expense, with no added markup

We know a surprise carrier rate change isn’t exactly the holiday gift anyone hoped for, especially with seasonal surcharges still in effect.
