Schedule Your Annual Inventory Audit

Summer is the perfect time to conduct your audit and get a better grasp on your inventory levels to sync with your Q4 planning.
Some accounting teams require audits to be done at a specific time of the year, and with limited slots available from October to December, we highly recommend confirming with your team and scheduling your yearly audit ASAP.

NEW TOOL: Sales by SKU Report
|
Hand in hand with your audit, now is a great time to address any slow-moving inventory taking up space and ballooning storage costs:
📈 Review your new Sales by SKU report* (Shared Drive>7. Reporting and Invoicing>2024 Reports). Identify products with high inventory levels and a low 30-day sell-through rate.
🔴 Create a Q3 sales plan around these items to free up space for new holiday products OR earmark them for deep discounts during BFCM to drive traffic.

Reminder: Product & Packaging Lead Times
|
As you plan your Q4 sales goals and product needs, remember that lead times dramatically increase the closer we get to BFCM. Expect to double normal lead times for both products and packaging if you wait too long.
Aim to have all inventory and packaging in our warehouse by mid-October to allow for everything to be checked, prepped, and ready for sales.
And for those of you with branded packaging, don’t forget about the industry-wide corrugated price increase hitting around the end of August/September!
